Parkinson’s have let ground floor offices extending to circa 2,500 sqft at 11 Upper Dicconson Street, Wigan within days of the property being marketed.

“We didn’t even get chance to get a board on the property before we had showed a potential tenant around and subsequently agreed terms with them” Says Mark Smith whom dealt with the instruction.

Signs of Improvement in the commercial property market - Fenruary 2010

Its probably a little early to get too excited but the early part of 2010 has seen a significant increase in activity within the commercial property market according to Parkinson’s Director Dan Crawshaw. “We at Parkinson’s have had the busiest two months that we have had in a long time. The works has been varied but we have definitely noticed increased number of lettings and sales taking place but also interestingly have noticed an increase in the number of valuation instructions and instructions relating to development advice that we are receiving”.

Parkinson CPC football team kick off 2010 with a win - January 2010

In their first game of 2010 Parkinson CPC played the RBS and eventually won the game 12-7.

“We were straight out of the blocks and banged in 5 or 6 quick goals whilst the RBS team took a while to get going following the Christmas break no doubt!” Said Parkinsons midfield dynamo Dan Shepherd.

Industrial unit LET - Swan Meadow Complex, Wigan - December 09

Parkinson CPC have let an 8000 sqft industrial unit to a Wigan powder coating firm on behalf of landlords for the scheme Maryland. The lease is for a term of 10 years which emphasis Maryland’s long term commitment to the site.

Retail premises Pemberton LET - December 09

Parkinson CPC have let retail premises of circa 800 sqft to a painting and decorating centre on behalf of clients. The premises are located within Pemberton town centre.

Parkinson CPC finish 2nd in charity go kart event - November 09

Parkinson CPC entered a team in what is anticipated and hoped may become an annual charity go karting event at Wigan Karting. The event was organised by the Royal Bank of Scotland and proceeds went to The Princes Trust. Parkinson’s team eventually finished 2nd overall in the 2 hour endurance race finishing behind the overall winners RBS. Tony Bellis was convinced Parkinson’s could have won the race had it not been for him stalling the kart, yes thats right he stalled a go kart!
